Daniel Hastings Art Commission Request:

Medium: Acrylic, watercolor, gouache or ink.

Price will vary based on the size of the painting and the detail of the subject, but I usually charge somewhere in the ballpark of $100 for a ~16×20″ painting.

If you would like a painting in a non-standard size, I can build my own canvases up to 4′ by 8′!

Regarding content: be as specific or loose as you like. List any additional requirements that you would like included in the commission contract not covered above. Also indicate if this is going to be for a book cover or for illustrations.

I will send you a commission contract and a small thumbnail sketch of what I’m planning to paint. If there are major changes to be made, now would be the time to make them! When you’re satisfied with the contract, put your signature on it and send it back to me. I allow up to two revisions after the final painting is done.

Payment: I use Paypal for all transactions. I usually require 50% up front.
